Biographische Hinweise:
1965 Promotion bei Carl Troll, danach wissenschaftl. Angestellter am Geogr. Institut Bonn. Ab 1967 wissenschaftl. Assistent, ab 1968 akademischer Rat, 1976 Habil.. Ab 1980 lehrte er u.a. Statistik am Geogr. Institut (Fachbereich Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeographie) und führte Exkursionen nach Griechenland durch. 1994-2002 Schriftleiter der "Erdkunde".
