Bemerkung: Das Farbdia zeigt eine Ausstellungsansicht von Michael Buthes Ausstellung „Le Dieux de Babylon“, die vom 27. Januar bis 24. Februar 1974 im Kunstmuseum Luzern zu sehen war. Es handelt sich um Dia 3/18 einer Fotoserie (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). Die Wände eines länglichen, spärlich beleuchteten Raums sind mit roten, bodenlangen Tüchern behängt. Im Zentrum der Fotografie ist eine Installation zu sehen, die an eine große Schwertklinge erinnert. Sie ist auf Tüchern aufgebahrt und liegt auf der geraden Kante auf mehreren bunten Holzstäben, deren fächerförmige Verteilung an Federn erinnert. Die Holzstäbe werden vom unteren Bildrand angeschnitten. // The color slide shows an exhibition view of Michael Buthe’s exhibition “Le Dieux de Babylon,” which was on show at the Kunstmuseum Luzern from 27 January to 24 February 1974. This is slide 3/18 of a photo series (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). The walls of an elongated, sparsely lit room are draped with red, floor-length cloths. In the center of the photograph is an installation reminiscent of a large sword blade. It is laid out on cloths and rests on its straight edge on several colorful wooden sticks whose fan-shaped distribution is reminiscent of feathers. The wooden sticks are cut from the lower edge of the picture.
