Bemerkung:   Es handelt sich um eine Farblithografie auf leichtem Leinenpapier. Zu sehen sind drei zentrierte Farbbalken in blau und rot auf einem goldenen Rechteck. Michael Buthe hat den Druck eigenhändig mit rostbrauner Ölfarbe und mehreren blauen Stempeln überarbeitet. Die Formen erinnern an Sterne und Monde. Unten rechts unterhalb des gedruckten Bildmotivs ist die Edition von Buthe handschriftlich in Bleistift signiert und links nummeriert. Es handelt sich um Exemplar 106 von 250. Die Lithografie ist im originalen Pappfolder eingelegt. Dieser zeigt recto den Titel „Römisch Drei“und innen links eine Übersicht der Einzelausstellungen des Künstlers zwischen 1968 und 1988. Auf der rechten Seite wurde ein handschriftlicher Brief in blauer Tinte verfasst. Der Brief richtet sich an Jean-Christophe Ammann anlässlich seines 60. Geburtstags und ist auf den 14. Januar 1999 datiert. Die Edition ist ein Geschenk an Ammann. Die*der Verfasser*in ist leider unbekannt, da die Signatur unleserlich ist. Brief JCA1BUTH047 ist von der*demselben Verfasser*in. Dem Dokument ist darüber hinaus eine s/w-Fotokopie des Briefes mit einer Notiz von Ammann angefügt. // This is a color lithograph on lightweight linen paper. It depicts three centered color bars in blue and red on a golden rectangle. Michael Buthe reworked the print by hand using rust-brown oil paint and several blue stamps. The shapes are similar to stars and moons. At the bottom right below the printed image, the edition is signed by Buthe in pencil and numbered on the left. This is copy 106 of 250. The lithograph is inserted in the original cardboard folder. The front shows the title “Römisch Drei” [Roman Three] and the inside left shows an overview of the artist's solo exhibitions between 1968 and 1988. On the right-hand side, a handwritten letter has been written in blue ink. The letter is addressed to Jean-Christophe Ammann on the occasion of his 60th birthday and is dated 14 January 1999. The edition is a gift to Ammann. Unfortunately, the author is unknown as the signature is illegible. Letter JCA1BUTH047 is from the same author. A b/w photocopy of the letter with a note from Ammann is also attached to the document.
